Welcome to the Junior Cricket section of Petworth Park Cricket Club. We're thrilled to offer a range of exciting programmes tailored for young enthusiasts aged 5 to 15. Whether your child is new to cricket or looking to advance their skills, we have something tailored for everyone.
Junior Indoor Winter Nets 2025 run from January to March 2025 on Wednesday evenings at Midhurst Rother College (Soft Ball Cricket 5.30pm and Hard Ball Cricket 6.30pm). To find out more get in touch at juniors@petworthparkcricket.org
Our Junior Cricket Outdoor Season Starts in May. We are thrilled to see our junior section growing each year, and 2025 promises to be another fantastic season. Here are the programmes we are running in 2025 for our young cricketers:
All Stars Cricket (Ages 5-8): Fridays, 5:30 PM – 6:15 PM
Kickstart your child's cricket journey with the ECB All Stars Cricket programme. Designed as a fun-filled introduction, this 8-week course offers:
Dynamos Cricket (Ages 8-11): Fridays, 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
For those eager to build upon their cricket basics, our Dynamos programme focuses on:
Junior Hard Ball Cricket (Ages 8-15): Fridays, 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Junior League Cricket – 2025 Teams
We are excited to be entering five junior league teams this season:
U10 Mixed
U11 Mixed
U13 Mixed
U15 Mixed
U13 Girls (our first-ever girls' league team!)
These teams will compete in The Newbery Sussex Junior Cricket League, giving our young players plenty of match experience in a fun and supportive environment.
We can’t wait to see our junior teams out on the field, developing their skills, making friends, and most importantly—having fun!

Safeguarding
Your child's safety and well-being is our top priority. All our coaches are ECB qualified, DBS checked, and follow the ECB Safe Hands Safeguarding and Protecting Children Policy. Our Club Safeguarding Officer, Clare Wiggs, oversees these measures.
