Petworth Park Cricket Club are aware of the statement issued by the England and Wales Cricket Board yesterday (Thursday 14th March) regarding All Stars and Dynamos Cricket balls, the Dynamos Cricket batting tee and the National Programme PVC banners.

We will be undertaking a thorough audit of all our equipment this weekend and removing all kit distributed as part of the ECB’s National Programmes which has been identified as being potentially unsafe for use.

Instead of All Stars cricket balls we will be using tennis balls to practice with during our All Stars sessions this season, as suggested by the ECB (which will be independently sourced from a separate supplier).

As ever, our priority is the safety and enjoyment of all our members and we will be closely monitoring the situation.
